A member of the Moreau Society, Brock uses life-threatening alien technology from the ultra-advanced Galactics at the galaxy's core to modify his DNA with alien genetic information. He gains enhanced inhuman abilities from his experimentation.

Brock Marsden started out human, but years of genetic manipulation with the Moreau Pod has made changes to the way he looks. In most cases, he still passes as human.
Born on Seabrook, a young Brock Marsden dreamed of escaping the planet. When presented with the opportunity, he joined a Torlian crew and escaped, first to space and later to Mars.
During the Nosferan-Human War, Brock spent time on Nosfer and became an Esteemed One, an ambassador between the waring species. Later on, he settled on Olinda and took on the new role of private detective under the tutelage of Shanley Walsh.
Brock Marsden appears as the main protagonist in the Moreau Society novels. To date that includes; Dark Matters, The Gingerbread House, Past Lives, and Past Dark. A fifth book in the series titled Synthetic Pain is forthcoming.
