I’ve been enjoying watching juncos nest outside of my study, under the roof of the carport. This is the first year that the birds have succeeded in actually raising chicks and today was the first day that I saw the baby juncos explore outside of the nest on the branch we’ve nailed under the beams.
I don’t have a great camera so the image quality wasn’t great. There are two juncos in the nest that I saw today. I thought there were three before, but maybe one didn’t make it.
Only 16 days left until I start my final semester at SJSU! I’m looking forward to working on the e-portfolio, but I’m also looking forward to being done!
